Responsible for creating test strategies, test plans, and providing defect management for system hardware and software. Gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements while working closely with customer support, product marketing and development team members. Work as a liaison between customer support and the development team triaging issues found in the field to help bring solutions to the market more quickly. Apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate system behavior and processes through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of business investments in initiatives. Responsible for implementing test automation for legacy systems or create frameworks where none exist to extend our current capabilities. Create training presentations and materials for sharing this knowledge to all engineers. Participate in requirement, design, and code reviews. Work with various levels of the customer support organization to help troubleshoot customer reported issues. Responsible for creating appropriate test coverage documents for key stakeholders. Solve problems and suggest process improvements. Responsible for creating project testing status dashboards, metrics, and status reports.


Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or related field.


3 years of experience in the position offered or related occupation.


Testing software and software systems; Agile/Scrum based testing; data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving; using application lifecycle management tools including Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Microsoft Test Manager (MTM); SQL with Oracle or SQL Server; testing client-server and thick client applications built on the Microsoft Windows platform; developing and maintaining custom interfaces and parsing incoming data; Healthcare industry; Supply Chain or inventory management; presenting estimates for enhanced or new features using different techniques; writing automation code using descriptive programming; designing and executing automation, load, performance and/or scalability testing using VSTS or other tools; Basic Software development using Object Oriented programming languages; Basic understanding and ability to develop in C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET.; Ability to work with XML documents; and developing Unit Testing Frameworks using VS Unit testing framework.
