Omnicell, Inc. Product Manager in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

The Product Manager role will report to the Senior Manager, Product Management and will lead the ideation and execution for a critical product area of the overall Omnicell Cloud Platform

In this role you will:

  • Conduct thorough market research and gather insights from internal users to identify pain points, requirements, and opportunities for enhancing the cloud platform framework.

  • Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap that aligns with the company's goals and priorities, ensuring iterative improvements and timely releases.

  • Define clear and actionable user stories, feature specifications, and acceptance criteria for the development team.

  • Lead multiple development scrum teams refinement grooming and product progress sprint reviews.

  • Act as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders, addressing their needs, gathering feedback, and providing regular updates on product progress.

  • Collaborate closely with the UX/UI team to design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.

  • Build effective relationships that matter with peers in engineering, design, QA, Omnicell Internal Domain Experts, Clients, and Omnicell implementation and upgrade teams.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)

  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, group presentations.

  • Flexibility to partner and negotiate with colleagues and customers at all levels inside and outside the organization.

  • Work well with downstream teams and customers to understand and appropriately respond to market and business needs.

  • Ability to interface effectively and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects at a time and effectively prioritize to achieve optimal results.

  • Collaborative team player who can develop trust, influence where necessary and execute as promised.

  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions.

  • A self-starter who can work independently.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Strong ability to communicate with engineering at a technical level related to internal tooling requirements.

  • 3+ years Product Management experience with a proven record of successfully launching products.

  • Highly proficient in creating EPICs and User stories in an agile environment.

  • 3+ years' experience working with Agile processes and teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong technical acumen, with a deep understanding of cloud technologies, infrastructure, and architecture.

  • Experience working within the healthcare industry to include technology, provider, payer and/or pharmaceutical industries.

  • Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations

  • Hospital pharmacy knowledge and experience

Work Condition:

  • Remote with occasional travel (about 25%).
