Marketing Assistant II

Reporting to the CMO, the Marketing Assistant role is a key member of the marketing team providing administrative and general marketing support. In order to work effectively as an Marketing Assistant, the position will have varied responsibilities to include:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage calendar schedules for the CMO and the marketing leadership team

  • Help ensure effective meeting management for the marketing leadership team.

  • Support CMO by setting up reports on Tableau, Excel and preparing spreadsheets.

  • Produce PowerPoint or Visio slides, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, web site reports.

  • Provide support with sourcing, vendor management, and spending reports.

  • Support in sending customer mailers, letters and marketing campaigns

  • Support in arranging customer events

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated proficiency using MS Outlook products including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Strong time management skills, ability to balance multiple priorities in a sometimes ambiguous environment.

  • Agility to balance independent work with taking direction to execute against specific defined requirements within defined timeframe or deadlines.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers and team members.

  • Ability to effectively interface and communicate with multiple constituents, including senior management, customers, vendors, and employees of all levels.

  • Refined listening skills.

  • Ability to consistently balance sense of urgency with diplomacy/empathy.

  • Ability to accept constructive criticism from stakeholders.

  • Commitment to cost reduction/control.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma/GED

  • 2 years administrative marketing experience in an office environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing

  • Proficiency with Tableau, Visio and CRM systems

  • Meeting/event planning support

  • Healthcare experience

Work Conditions:Office environment. Flexibilty for overtime and occasional travel.
